OPTIONS FOR RECEIVING YOUR MEDICATIONS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

 1) Elder Care Delivery. This is available for Sault Tribe Elders only, age 60 and over, living in Sault Ste. Marie City Limits and Odenaang Subdivision. Please contact the pharmacy in the normal manner to make your refill request and then call 906-635-4971 to make arrangements with Elder Care for delivery.

 2) Homebound Elder Prescription Delivery for those Sault Tribe Elders living outside of Sault Ste. Marie City Limits or Odenaang Subdivision, who are homebound. Contact your local tribal center: Newberry Tribal Community Health Center 906-293-8181 Hessel Tribal Community Health Center 906-484-2727 Escanaba Tribal Community Health Center 906-341-1836 Marquette Tribal Community Health Center 906-225-1616

3) UPDATE to Walk in Service - Sault Tribe Health Center Only. Please, enter the Sault Tribe Health Center and proceed to the auditorium on the first floor from 9 AM to 2:30 PM daily. Please wear a mask.

4) Drive up Pickup Service. St. Ignace: First call 906-643-4996 and choose Option #6 to speak with pharmacy staff to see if your prescription is ready for pickup. Then drive to the Mackinac Straits Hospital pharmacy parking area between 9 AM to 1 PM and PARK. Someone will walk out to your parked vehicle for parking lot pickup. Manistique: Drive to the parking lot and call 906-341-9545 if that number is busy call 906-341- 9518 and ask to have your prescriptions brought out to you. Munising: Drive to the parking lot and call 906-387-4721 and ask to have your prescriptions brought out to you. Hessel: Drive to the front of the building and call 906-484-2727 and ask to have your prescriptions brought out to you. Some deliveries are also available please call the same number to discuss. Newberry: Drive to the front of the building and call 906-293-8181 and ask to have your prescriptions brought out to you. Some deliveries are also available please call the same number to discuss. Escanaba and Marquette: Please call the centers PRIOR to coming to the center to make arrangements. Escanaba 906-341-1836, Marquette 906-225-1616.

 5) United States Mail. This is available for all patients over the age of 45 years. Please Note that we cannot mail controlled substances, temperature sensitive items like insulin, flammable items, liquids or glass. Sault Ste Marie Pharmacy: Call 906-632-5226, choose option 3 and leave a message that includes: Your Name, your chart # or date of birth, the name of each medication, your phone number, please state that you want them mailed and give us your current address. St. Ignace Pharmacy: Call 906-643-4996 and choose option 6. Manistique Pharmacy: Call 906-341-9545 and remain on the line to leave a message that you would like your medications mailed. Leave a message that includes: Your Name, your chart # or date of birth, the name of each medication, your phone number, please state that you want them mailed and give us your current address.
