Lyndee Zeigler is a Community Health Educator who loves watching how cultivating a culture of wellness, rest, healthy nutrition, and physical activity can transforms lives. Lyndee has been in healthcare and wellness for five years – specializing in exercise testing and prescription, health education and health coaching, cardiac rehabilitation, tobacco cessation, and corporate employee wellness programs. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornerstone University and Mount Vernon Nazarene University with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Biology, respectively. While attending Cornerstone University, Lyndee was a four-time national indoor qualifier and two-time national outdoor qualifier in track and field. 

Lyndee works primarily from the Sault Tribal Health & Human Services Center in Saint Ignace, Michigan. She is part of Nicotine Dependence Program and Physical Activity Referral Program, and helps with community outreach and the local coalition groups. In her free time, Lyndee enjoys antiquing, reading, cooking and baking, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband, Jason, and two puppies, Leya and Ivy.

Fitness Center
The Sault Tribal Health Program promotes an active, healthy lifestyle and believes regular exercise is essential to good health. The Big Bear Fitness Center is located on the second floor between the two ice arenas and is surrounded by a 0.1 mile walking track. The indoor track surrounds the fitness center and is available for use during Big Bear hours of operation.

Health Education
Located in the Sault Tribe’s Community Health Department, Sault Tribe’s Health Education Services develop and implement effective health promotion and chronic disease prevention programs in order to increase the health of individuals, families, and communities across the Sault Tribe seven county service area. Health education staff focus on promoting, maintaining, and restoring the health of our community members.
