Fitness Center

All In One Fitness Club

The Sault Tribal Health Program promotes an active, healthy lifestyle and believes regular exercise is essential to good health.  The All In One Fitness Center is located on the second floor of the Big Bear Arena, between the two ice rinks and includes a 0.1 mile walking track. The indoor track surrounds the fitness center and is available for use during Big Bear hours of operation.

The Fitness Center is a full service facility with multiple exercise options available to meet the needs of all members, from beginners to seasoned veterans.  We have a vast array of fitness equipment, including:

The All In One Fitness Center is one of the largest and best equipped gyms in the Eastern Upper Peninsula and provides a number of accessories to enhance your exercise experience.  These include numerous TV's, member picked music, free WIFI access, Air Conditioning, sweat towels, and a host of healthy protein bars & performance drinks.  We also carry supplements.

People wishing to utilize the All In One Fitness Center can simply pay for a day pass or sign up for a membership on a  monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis.  Membership prices are some of the lowest in the Sault area.  Sault Tribe members can access the Fitness Center free of charge by presenting their Tribal ID and filling out the required membership application and signing the liability waiver.  The Fitness Center is open to the public seven days a week. 

Hours of operation:

(Fall/Winter Hours)  Monday - Friday: 5 am to 9 pm/ Saturday & Sunday - 9 am to 5 pm

 (Summer Hours) Monday – Friday: 5am to 9pm/ Sat: closed; Sunday 9am-5pm

Membership benefits include access to locker rooms with showers, hair dryers and sauna.  Members can use the indoor walking track and have use of the basketball and volleyball courts during open gym hours.  Monthly locker rentals are available.

The Fitness Center is an official Spinning facility and also hosts a number of fitness classes which are available to members at minimal cost. 

We cater to young adults, adults and eldersPatrons and members must be 14 years of age or older.   Sault Tribe members can access the Fitness Center free of charge by presenting their Tribal ID and filling out the required membership paperwork.

No appointments necessary.  To access Fitness Center activities simply come to the center during normal hours of operation.  All patrons are required to register (sign in) at the Fitness Center desk.  Fitness Center staff includes a Fitness Center Supervisor and Weight Room monitors that are there during operating hours to assist patrons.


Providers who perform this service:

Josh Firack, ACSM EP-C, LMT
Josh Firack is a 1996 graduate of Northern Michigan University with a B.S. degree in Health and Fitness Management. Josh was first certified as a personal trainer in 1997 through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and he maintained that certification until 2014. He is well versed in many facets of the health and fitness industry, as he has experience as a personal trainer, physical therapy aid, massage therapist and exercise physiologist. Josh has also managed outpatient physical therapy clinics as well as commercial fitness centers and has been the owner of a fitness center. He has worked with individuals ranging from 13 to 97 years of age, all with different physical capacities as well as various fitness/wellness goals.

Tina Robinson
Tina Robinson graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2013 with a bachelors in Exercise Science. She has 8 years’ experience in cardiopulmonary rehab through MyMichigan Medical Center, formerly War Memorial Hospital. Tina is certified through ACSM as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. She has also been trained by Mayo Clinic as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist. Tina provides services through Sault Tribe Community Health in the Physical Activity Program and the Nicotine Dependency Program.
