Physical Therapy

Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants are licensed and trained movement specialists. Physical Therapists are trained in providing patient-specific activity programs that are designed to address the individual needs and impairments. A Licensed Massage Therapist is also available in conjunction with Physical Therapy services.

Your trained therapy staff member will apply their knowledge of biomechanics and anatomy to design each patient’s plan of care. We will provide a body-specific activity program to restore and optimize mobility so each specific functional outcome can be achieved. Our providers have a diverse skill set, and each clinician’s background and work experience can meet the age range, gender, and physical level of each individual patient.

Who can be seen in our clinic?

All patients seen in our clinic are members of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Patients are seen by their Tribal physician and referred to our clinic. Once your physician deems services are needed, a physical therapy evaluation will be made. Once you are evaluated, follow-up appointments will be made to address your dysfunction.

Your Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistant will design a program that is right for you. Common areas of treatment include but are not limited to the following:

  • Cervical Dysfunction
  • Thoracic and Low Back Pain
  • Strains and Sprains
  • Bursitis and Tendonitis
  • Shoulder Impairments
  • Vertigo
  • Lymphedema Management
