Clinical Nursing

Clinical Nursing Services

Licensed nurses are available at our tribal clinics to help care for patients presenting to the clinic for a medical appointment.  Nurse-only appointments are available at all clinic sites during normal clinic hours.  These services include but are not limited to:

·      Injections – immunotherapy, family planning, immunizations, hormone replacement therapy, vitamin deficiency therapy, as well as seasonal flu, COVID, and pneumonia vaccines

·      EKG (with a provider order)

·      Patient education – disease process, self-injection training for home medications, medication review

·      Diabetic foot exams

·      Blood pressure checks

·      Suture and staple removal (with a provider order)
