2020 Employee of the Year Recipient Congratulations to Carey Mills. Carey graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 1991 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Medical Technology. She did her first year-long internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI. She passed her ASCP boards in August 1992. She has worked in the Sault Tribe Health Center Laboratory since April 1995. She has been married to her husband, Danny, for over 28 years and they live in Brimley. They have two daughters, Taylor and Katie. For hobbies, Carey enjoys walking, gardening, camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Carey was also named the 2020 Employee of the Year for all her dedicated work during 2020 while the lab experienced huge challenges dealing with the COVID-19 virus.
