The Sault Tribe Health Division would like to recognize the remarkable dedication and teamwork demonstrated by the entire Pharmacy staff at the Sault Ste. Marie Health Center (STHC).
During a challenging period when our computer system was down, rendering electronic prescription processing impossible, the Pharmacy team showed unwavering commitment to our patient's well-being. Despite the obstacles, they tirelessly processed orders by hand and meticulously sorted through over 1000 prescriptions to ensure no patient was left without their medication. Their selflessness was evident as they sacrificed their lunches and worked late into the evening, with some even dedicating their weekends to the task. What was anticipated to be a quick fix stretched into four days, yet the Pharmacy staff remained resilient and focused on the task at hand. Their exceptional teamwork and dedication exemplify the true spirit of healthcare excellence. I am immensely proud of how they rallied together to overcome adversity and ensure our patients received the care they needed. |
